Warm Salad of Garlic Mushrooms, Mixed Grains and Chestnuts



250 g chestnut mushrooms, sliced
4 cloves garlic, sliced
Olive oil
Microwave pack of mixed grains with chestnuts
2 spring onion sliced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
Pinch pepper


  1. Fry the mushrooms in a frying pan with a splash of olive oil and a splash water.
  2. When the mushrooms are 75% cooked add the garlic slices. Cook until the mushrooms are tender.
  3. Add the paprika, pepper and salt. Stir well then add the grains and spring onions into the pan.
  4. ​Use a spatula to break up any lumps and then also add a tbsp of water. Let the grains soak up the water for about 3 minutes over a medium high heat. Serve!
