Japanese Street Food Takoyaki



1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup octopus (cut into small pieces)
1/2 cup chopped green onion or spring onion
1 leftover Tempra or 1/2 cup Tempra flakes or 1/2 cup fried onion
2 eggs
1-2 tablespoon water
Bonito flake
Tonkatsu Japanese sauce or barbecue sauce


1- This is Takoyaki maker. But if you don’t have this, you can make takoyaki with this way.

2- Chop all ingredients. I use frozen leftover Tempra but if you don’t have please use fried onion.

3- Mix all together well.

4- Oil the pan and fry the batter until both side gets crispy and brown.

5- Cut into bite size. Sprinkle bonito flake, mayonnaise and Tonkatsu sauce. You can eat with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
