1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon thyme leaves
10 cloves garlic, minced
2 onions, thinly sliced
2 packages (14 ounce) white mushrooms, cut into slices
1 cup Marsala cooking wine
1/2 cup cold water
1/4 cup cornstarch
Cooked white rice OR prepared mashed potatoes

1- Rinse and pat dry your chicken thighs ……

2- Cut thighs into strips and place into crockpot …..

3- Place your black pepper, thyme leaves, minced garlic, sliced onions and mushrooms all over chicken strips ………

4- Pour your Marsala cooking wine all over chicken and veggies …….Stir lightly …….

5- Cover crockpot and cook for 6 hours, stirring occasionally ……..Halfway through the cooking process I left my crockpot lid slightly opened so it wouldn’t be too soupy

6- Combine your cold water and cornstarch in a small bowl, mix until smooth ………

7- Slowly add in cornstarch that has been mixed with the cold water to the center of your crockpot and stir gently to combine everything…..

8- Set crockpot to high heat and cook an additional 20 minutes, stirring occasionally……
